One of our favorite things to do is work with communities and young artists to create public art that everyone can enjoy. This 175’ mural was created for the City of Bayonne, New Jersey. Rebecca worked with a team of young artists, high-school art students, and professionals who put their time into brightening an otherwise dreary stretch of roadway, and also learned the techniques of large-scale painting from our experience.

We had the pleasure of brightening this high-school lunch room, and working closely with teachers, administrators, and students, who all pitched in to help Rebecca paint these two murals. The project was organized by the Art Ready Program at Smack Mellon Gallery, iBrooklyn, New York. www.smackmellon.org/education/art-ready/
